Camilla Tomassen
I´m Camilla, a Norwegian who has always had a special connection with Greece. I used to live in Crete but have now made the move to Athens.
What I love most about Greece is the amazing food, the beautiful landscapes, and the hospitality of the people here. The Mediterranean weather makes being outside a joy all year round, whether I am enjoying the beach, walking my dog, or exploring ancient sites. Crete will always hold a special place in my heart with its beautiful beaches and charming towns. Athens, on the other hand, is the city that never sleeps – there is always something to do, whether it´s exploring new neighborhoods or trying one of the countless amazing food spots.
With a background as a social worker, I am passionate about supporting individuals in overcoming challenges and achieving their goals. The combination of my career and my love for Greece gives me a unique perspective in helping others who are ready to take the step to move to Greece. Having lived in Greece, Germany, Spain and Hong Kong, I am well aware of the challenges of starting anew, adapting to new environments and creating a new circle of friends. Before I discovered my passion for recruiting, I had spent a good 10 years as a professional music performer and tutor, touring around the world! My years as a professional musician taught me the value of perseverance, adaptability, and the power of human connection—skills that have seamlessly translated into my work in recruitment. My journey started in the world of science—I hold a bachelor's degree in biology and am now pursuing a master’s in human genetics. Studying the complexity of life at a molecular level has given me a deep appreciation for how unique each person is, not just in their DNA but also in their skills, ambitions, and potential.
